Structured Development for the Next Generation of BMX Athletes
Zenith Velocity Lab is the training, coaching, and athlete development division of Zenith Racing Group, built to help BMX riders of all ages and ability levels become faster, stronger, and more competitive through structured training, coaching, and on-track instruction. The purpose of Velocity Lab is to remove the guesswork from training and replace it with proven methods used by high-level amateur, Elite, and Professional BMX riders.
At its core, Velocity Lab focuses on developing the complete BMX athlete. This includes sprint power, strength, endurance, mobility, technique, race strategy, recovery, nutrition, and mindset. Many riders practice and race frequently but do not follow a structured training plan, which often leads to plateaus, fatigue, injuries, or inconsistent performance. Velocity Lab provides structure and progression so riders can continue improving year after year instead of guessing what workouts or training they should be doing.
Velocity Lab offers multiple levels of training programs so riders can choose the level of structure and coaching that fits their goals. The Bronze program provides structured weekly workouts and fitness development. The Silver program adds coaching support and performance guidance. The Gold program is a fully customized elite training and coaching program for serious national, Elite, and Pro riders. In addition to training programs, Velocity Lab also offers free performance consultations to help riders understand their strengths, weaknesses, and goals, as well as Group Rider Clinics held at tracks where riders can work on gates, sprinting, jumping, cornering, and race strategy with experienced coaches and professional riders.
The overall goal of Zenith Velocity Lab is to create a clear development pathway for BMX riders. A rider might start with a consultation, join the Bronze program to build fitness, move into Silver for coaching and performance development, attend clinics to improve skills, and eventually progress into the Gold program and potentially into higher-level team opportunities. Whether a rider is a beginner looking to build fitness, a state-level rider trying to win championships, or a national rider chasing Elite or Pro racing, Velocity Lab provides the structure, coaching, and development system to help them improve and reach their potential.

Goal of Velocity Lab Clinics
The goal of Velocity Lab Group Rider Clinics is to help riders:
These clinics are also an opportunity for riders and families to learn more about the Velocity Lab training programs and the athlete development pathway connected to Velocity Lab and Factory SYNDYT / ZENITH Racing Group.
One-on-one training through Zenith Velocity Lab is designed to give riders individualized coaching from Rayne Lankford, Tyler Henry, or Coach Anthony Bozarth, combining on-track skill development with guidance on off-track training, strength, sprint work, and race preparation. This is the most personalized way for a rider to improve because the coaching is focused entirely on that rider’s strengths, weaknesses, goals, and race schedule.
During one-on-one sessions at the track, riders would work directly on the most important parts of BMX performance. This includes gate starts, first straight acceleration, jumping and manual technique, cornering, line choice, passing strategy, and overall track speed. The coach or pro rider would watch laps, provide immediate feedback, demonstrate techniques, and help the rider make small adjustments that can lead to big improvements in speed and efficiency. Many riders plateau simply because no one is watching closely enough to correct technique, timing, or positioning. One-on-one coaching solves that problem quickly.
In addition to on-track coaching, one-on-one training would also include guidance on off-track training. This may include strength training recommendations, sprint workouts, recovery strategies, race weekend preparation, and weekly training structure. Riders would learn how to balance riding, strength training, sprint work, and recovery so they are improving fitness without burning out or overtraining. Nutrition, hydration, and sleep habits may also be discussed because these play a major role in performance, especially during long race weekends and national schedules.
The biggest benefit of one-on-one training is that it accelerates improvement. Instead of guessing what to work on, riders get clear direction. Instead of repeating bad habits, they receive immediate correction. Instead of random workouts, they get guidance on structured training. Over time this leads to better gate starts, more speed on the track, better race results, and more confidence. For many riders, even a few one-on-one sessions can make a significant difference in performance because they finally understand exactly what they need to work on and how to train properly.
